For a healthy smile and healthy body: Treatment and maintenance of periodontal disease
When you visit Dr. Kelley for treatment and maintenance of periodontal disease, you are also doing your heart, bones, and brain a world of good. Researchers believe the same bacteria and inflammation associated with advanced gum disease is responsible for systemic conditions including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and rheumatoid arthritis.

An ounce of prevention; a pound of cure

Keep professional cleanings and checkups as recommended by Dr. Kelley. You may visit us at 3-, 4-, or 6-month intervals, depending on your needs.

Gum disease is often “silent” in its earliest stages. Problems identified during routine exams may come as a surprise to you.

Early intervention is important. Deep cleaning or scaling and root planing may be recommended to remove plaque below the gums. While your dental team can suggest modifications to home care, brushing and flossing alone can’t remove hardened plaque or tartar. This is where professional hygienists and dental instruments come to the rescue.

With treatment, the progression of disease can be stopped and its effects reversed. Advanced disease results in bone loss. Once bone is gone, it doesn’t grow back.

Patient Testimonial

"Dr Kelley took care of my 'one in a million' bucked teeth in 2 office visits. It was a challenging project but the new ones blend right in with the old ones and do not look fake. No pain and no drama, with a little bit of humor sprinkled in, dare I say visiting the dentist was a pleasant experience? "
